Be careful before you purchase this product.
This product does not work on some older TVs and certain input sources. I connected a Firestick to an older TV with this device and it did not work. Certain devices like the Firestick have copywright protection HDCP. If I used this device on a newer tv, it works fine, but with the older tvs you need a different device that bypasses the HDCP.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worked perfectly!
I connected the HDMI out cable from my receiver into the adapter and plugged it into the component input of the TV. That was all it took, now I don't have to replace the HDMI board on my TV. Great picture too!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A very unhappy gamer
