Great Movie for Kids
The kids in my 4th grade classroom LOVED this movie. The music is a little cheesy, and some of the acting isn't great. But it has heart, and Robert Townsend is perfect as the teacher who suddenly has the power to fight the gangs that are destroying his community. It's fun, with no profanity or graphic violence. Good flick.

I'd been searching for this movie for so...
I'd been searching for this movie for sometime. The DVD was in great condition. I remember renting this from Blockbuster with my family in the 90s so it was nice to relive that. So nostalgic.
