Instructions are an utter failure
This pad comes with an instruction sheet for how to mount it to your Givi tail pack. My heart sank when I saw the printed paper template that they included. I was hoping that Givi would have thought to mold some obvious "drill points" on the inside of the case, which would have made it perfectly obvious and perfectly easy to know exactly where to drill the mounting holes. But no - we have this paper template instead, showing how to use the template to mark the drill points on the outside of the tail pack (without opening it). So I obediently followed the directions, taped the template to the outside front of the pack, and did the most accurate job I could of drilling the holes. Then I opened the case up, and found THAT YES, GIVI DID PROVIDE MOLDED PILOT GUIDES FOR THE DRILL POINTS! But because I was following the directions, I never looked inside for them. Where I actually drilled was workable, but would have been even better had I just followed the molded guides. Givi - please get your act together! Molding the guide points is great, TELLING PEOPLE THEY"RE THERE is also helpful!

Not as comfortable the padding is hard and small. Once mounted the case does not stay open.
