Excellent Fit and Engineering
Very well built with excellent fit to the bike and cases. It was easy to install myself on a Honda NC700XD. I got the M5 platform later and sure enough the holes lined up! Something that I thought would require some re-fitment or bending aligned perfectly. It's strong, I rolled the bike over when I hadn't set the side stand properly and the V35 took it's share of the weight. I fully expected to have bent rails but there was absolutely no give on the rack - very impressed! The Installation illustration could have been a little better. As I was installing the the PLX1111 with the FZ1111 (top case rack) I was perplexed as to the order of attachment to the 'L' brackets installed to the rear seat rails. Common sense prevailed: one is on the front of the bracket and the PLX1111 is on the inside. This order is important. HINT: attach everything loosely, without tightening, even the 'L' brackets. When it's all together begin tightening all connections a little at time, allowing all parts to 'settle' into their natural positions.
