Very nice upgrade!
This clutch lever is much smoother and easier to pull than the cable set up that this BMW F800GT had. Setting the bike up for my small handed wife required this upgrade but the feel of the hydraulic lever over the cable made the bike feel much more high end. Installation on the f800gt required the hose to be disconnected from the master cylinder due to the tight spaces it had to be run through. This required it to be bled afterward. Had to buy a bottle of Magura Blood for that.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor design produces excessive clutch drag.
There is a major design fault with this product as it doesn't pull far enough to fully free off the clutch. The original cable pulls the clutch operating lever a distance of 24mm, this hydraulic clutch only pulls it 16mm. This makes the clutch drag badly, particularly if you need to adjust the clutch lever closer to the bars. It will work, but very poorly. This is not a fault of the supplier, its a design fault by the manufacturer. I have sent the complaint to them twice via their website, but both have been ignored.
