Easy to assemble, good looking when done

This was quite simple to assemble though I took the added precaution of glueing up the joints in addition to using the self tapping screws. The pieces and hardware were all present and accurately cut to size. The unit is basic and functional and the pine is a very nice break from the plastic coated particle board you see in so much of this type furniture. I use it as a bedside table and it works great for my purposes.

Good quality, real wood, but extensive assembly required

It is important to know that (even if the description does not disclose it) you are not buying a cart, you are buying a box of wood pieces that can be built into a cart. This is a process of some hours. The most time-consuming are the shelves, because there are 6 of them. Yes, each shelf must be carefully screwed and nailed together, an awkward procedure that seems to require 3 hands. The overall frame takes about the same time as a single shelf. My son who has two strong hands undertook to build this, and halfway into it he offered to put up the money for a completed unit next time. It is NOT a quick assembly. Instructions are clear, however. Now the bad is out of the way, the real plus of this product must be acknowledged: It is a nice unit made of real wood, not veneer. Only the shelf floors and back of the unit are fiber board. The plastic drawer runners are sturdy and work well. The drawers fit onto the runners and can be removed entirely; there is no stop so be careful when extending a drawer fully. I would not load this cart with heavy items because the two horizontal base slats (on which the casters are mounted) are secured to the walls with only 1 screw each per side. You might consider supplementary screws into the bottom slats, My son pre-drilled the holes and used thin screws to avoid splitting the wood slats. Even so, I woul call it a medium-duty cart as far as weight capacity. So overall, a quality unit. The value is reduced by the time necessary to build it, which may or may not dismay a buyer depending on their physical capabilities and time available. As a physically limited person who had to rely on his son devoting several hours to the project, if I had to do it over again I would pay twice as much for one already built.

  • Maybe i got the only bad one?...

It is good product when it comes to materials, real wood is much better than pressed wood. My bad experience was the assembly part, the holes where the plastic drawers rails go were all off on right side but perfect on left side, the backing was difficult to do it following instructions, the drawers were fine though, on the plastic rail part, had to brake the part and make something that would fit; either that or return one side of it, the back side and the plastic part of the drawers. I didn't feel like going thru all the trouble to return it then wait another one or two weeks. I will end up with a funny looking piece but i plan to put it under another furniture so that it won't show.

  • Beautiful but smaller than you’d think

This is quite a beautiful little drawer set and I would certainly give them five stars for all the forethought that went into making this easy to assemble. It really does not take that long nor do you need to be a level 2 do it yourself to put it together. Just be aware that it is very small! The drawers are small. The wood is nice and it looks very nice assembled. The roller wheels are a nice touch. Get out your tape measure!

  • Good Value

Cabinet sides, top, and bottom, and drawer fronts and sides are solid wood. It was easy to put together with a screw gun and would probably be relatively easy with just a screwdriver. It looks good and should last a long time.

  • A really great product!

This is just a great little cart! Wood no darn fiberboard! Took quite a while to assemble, but it was worth it. Just follow the directions and no problem. If you want a good sturdy craft cart, then this is one for you!

  • Real wood

Well made of real wood, these carts are great for storing art supplies. I add foam core board dividers to sort my colored pencils in my first one. Will use the second for other supplies. Might buy a third for bjd doll accessories. Would be great for sewing and quilting supplies. Castors add convenience, too.

  • Just the right dimension

I have been looking for a rolling cart that fits under my desk. I wanted sold wood, not plastic. This cart fit the bill. I'm able to use it to store art supplies and roll it out next to my easel when I paint. The cart arrived ahead of scheduled delivery date. Although I had to assemble the entire cart, including drawers, instructions were clear and easy to follow so I didn't mind putting the whole thing together. The wood isn't the best quality, but it looks great and is a better value than similar plastic carts that don't fit in with my office/studio decor.

  • Nice cart third one I bought using all over the office.

Takes a little time to put together, power screwdriver sure helps! It holds a lot. I put it under my computer desk, to keep all the junk I alway have on my desk. When I need something I just reach oner to the right slide open a drawer. What i like is it's all solid wood accept drawer bottoms. For the price I'm happy

  • Easy to assemble.... just have to take your time!

I found it easy to assemble... just have to take your time. I use it as a tool cart / end table in my boat. I glued all the seams / joints afterwards with Gorilla glue for added strength. I also put black rubber tool mat in all the drawers. Works great for my purposes.
