  • This book makes calculus as understandable as possible.

I took a quarter of calculus back in 1973 in technical school. There was another quarter of it required for the electrical students but not for me. I always wanted that other course but could not work it in. I always wondered what I missed and now I am going to find out. This book is fantastic. So far most of what I have covered I had back 49 years ago, but this author explains it far better than anyone ever did for me. Back then I struggled with derivatives a little more than integrals, and that seems true even today but with this book I am understanding the vague stuff better. I hope to be through the book in about 2 months. I still have my old math book from back then so I have plenty of practice problems. If you buy this book and don't already have a calculus book with exercises, I suggest you get the companion workbook because you have to work problems to really learn this material.
