Excellent elf on the shelf substitute
My children love reading the story of a night knowing Olaf is hiding before morning. They know he’ll be waiting on his warm hug. The book can be a little redundant,(but What child’s book isn’t?) If you have multiple children get an extra Olaf plush. Once one has found one that can’t hug another. That way you don’t have broken hearts from one getting to him “first”.
