Great Point & Shoot Camera, Easy to Use, Great Results
I own a couple of Nikon's that are not my favorite, mostly because they do not have a stabilizer on them & I own several Canon's that I love, though my DSLR's are just too complicated for someone who does not want to read a manual. My go-to Canon's shutter was sticking, so I thought I would buy one with a longer zoom, which I did, I also bought this Nikon not expecting the best results. I was pleasantly surprised, this takes much better photos then the Canon I bought and in some ways since it zooms farther much better than my go-to Canon. I did not expect to like it so much. I am thrilled, it takes great photos, is easy to use, & I did not have to read a manual to get the results I was looking for. I would highly recommend this. I have attached a few photos to show the quality of photo. The moon is not full, but a few days before.

No viewfinder equals a pile of junk
This is a new class of cameras that have no viewfinder. Without a viewfinder, this camera is mostly unusable. If you try to get a picture of a hawk sitting on a post, you cannot find the hawk in the highly reflective screen, making the camera worthless. Don't buy this camera or any camera that doesn't have a viewfinder, get another brand. Also, the controls are placed incorrectly. They are always in the way and when I tried to take any pictures, I found myself, accidentally, pressing many wrong buttons.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Excellent Versatility!
This camera has an awesome zoom on it; great for getting sports and wildlife and outdoor shots. It also has a macro setting on the lens which can do excellent closeups of flowers, birds and other tiny subjects. There is a very good video option on this camera as well.
