Great for printing full color photos with expensive Samsung toner. Not nearly as good/vibrant with 3rd part / generic/compatible toner, but OK. Manual feed is not so great, awkward to use, unreliable, maybe better if I ever get the hang of its very odd set-up. Works, sometimes, but worst manual feed set-up I have ever used. The paper tray is also touchy to get it closed properly on one printer, the other is OK (I have 2 of these, for the quality of photo printing) Installing software is also weird/awkward. Samsun FORCES you to go online and install from their web site. Software CD (noted in instructions) is NOT included. Samsung will not email the driver to user either. They did send me a program to install the driver, BUT, it requires internet connection to work. Had to run a very long temporary cable to install on a NONE web (security reasons) computer. The method works, but I DO NOT like it. Once you get past install issues and if you don't need the sometimes works manual sheet feed, its a very quick, high quality printer at a good value.Read full review

I've had a Samsung C1810W for over 7 years and it has performed beyond my wildest dreams. I have also bought one form son and he's had the same pleasurable results. This purchase of another C1810W was for a friend. I have yet to install it, but the test run printed just fine when I unplugged my current C1810W & plugged in this new used unit. As a Computer nerd of over 60 years I have experienced all kinds of printers and found the Samsung Color Laser Cartridge Printers to be the best. They may cost more, but when you add up all those small Ink Jets cartridges you have to pay for, you quickly become aware that there's a real savings over 6 years of more than $600.
