Great box set!
Love getting obscure 50’s era science fiction films on Blu-ray this boxset does deliver in that respect. “The Gamma People”, “Devil Girl from Mars”, “The 27th Day”, “The Bught the World Exploded” and “The Undrrwater City” certainly fit the bill of obscure 50’s era sci-fi. “This Island Earth” is in a more famous catagory being a Universal studio title well known to sci-fi fans. My only criticism is no extras were supplied on “The Gamma People”, “Night the World Exploded”, “The Underwater City” and “The 27th Day.” I love hearing commentary tracts and watching documentaries on these old movies and was disappointed in not getting such material particularly on the film “The Gamma People” which is really an excellent film starring the great characters actor Paul Douglas. I guess I should be grateful these obscure films even got released on Blu-ray but it would have been nice to have gotten some extras on them.
