I have been buying MOFI vinyl since 1977. I still have about 75 still sealed, including 11 Beatles most important I have the original corresponding regular albums. I am well aware of MOFI history and quality. As I said before, I have the original B. Joel vinyl records and this CD let me hear things that I never hear before even that my hearing is not as it used to be. This is my first review of a recording because I keep them sealed, most of them if vinyl. An Excellent Billy Joel Recording !!!
Billy Joel changed musical directions with 1983's "An Innocent Man". He left the hard edge of his previous recordings to a more milder direction exploring the Doo-Wop area of his youth. His relationship with future wife Christie Brinkley is all over the recording. Some great music came out of this release. The MFSL edition in CD/SACD sounds great and well worth the extra cost if you have an audiophile system ! Highly Recommended !!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Glorious Sounding Billy Joel An Innocent Man
I received this MoFi Hybrid SACD in about 1 weeks time. The sound quality is extraordinary. Each instrument and voice are at the fore front of sound. 1st track Easy Money has never been a favorite. This version brings out the horns, voices in such a way that always demands a repeat play. Billy Joel is one of my favorite singers.
