NotesI was born on the day that Harry Truman was elected. He dropped the big one and my Mom dropped me. After snoring my way through my education, I became a musician because it did more good that harm. I toured for years on the folk circuit sharing the stage with Reverend Gary Davis, Kris Kristofferson, Sam and Dave, Dave Von Ronk, Pearls Before Swine and many others. When I moved back home from this road, I settled by the muddy Brandywine Creek. I spent some time in leather pants doing angst driven rock with Get Right and Life After Elvis. The current aggregation is called The Rob Dickenson Band. It is Americana, folk rock, hillbilly, Irish and gypsy music combined. My new CD is called 'Remembrance'. I am a story teller who happens to tell his tales with music. I also have a Christmas CD by The Brandywine Christmas Minstrels called 'A Brandywine Christmas'. When you buy this CD instead of downloading, you are buying the beautiful artwork of Mary Fisher, Tom Bostelle and the photos of John Manning. Each CD bought contributes to the delinquency of an overgrown adolescent.
