Entertaining and suspenseful camp
I have read bad reviews of this film but when I viewed it for the first time I found it to be more suspenseful than reviews made it out to be. Sure, there is an abundance of camp, but I liked the fact that the murderer's identity kept me guessing. You really had to be observant to see the clues. I also liked the fact that Joan Crawford's character at the age of 62 was still a glamorous woman full of life, and had a love interest who was younger than her. The man she was involved with was not a really young man; again, the reviewers exaggerated the age differences between the characters and made a big deal of it. The character had graying hair and I would say he was in his late thirties (Ty Hardin was in fact 37 in real life). If old guys in their sixties can have romances with 30 somethings and even 20 somethings in the plots of movies, why not older women in their sixties?Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
