First of all, it helps to be an accepting liberal fan of Shakespeare's classic, Romeo and Juliet, to help in the appreciation of this film. It is a loose adaptation of the Bard's classic. It is done with an all male cast. Romeo and Juliet are a gay couple going through the trials and tribulations of the Montague and Capulet families. Not only is everyone a male, the setting is also in a boy's military academy. The acting is very good. The production values are good. Definitely a unique interpretation of classic literature.
