I had first seen this movie years ago on either TCM or AMC for I enjoy watching mystery movies, but my mom was watching it with me because she is a Van Johnson fan. It is a good solid suspense drama that keeps one glued to one's seat. I would rate it at ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of five stars.

Great Old Movie. Full of Suspense.
Great old movie much like Hitchcock's "Rear Window" or DePalma's "Blow Out". Main character overhears a kidnapping plot and has to investigate on his own. Full of suspense and a few twists. Overall a well acted and entertaining movie.
