I now love my Creality CR-10 V2/V3 after installing the Hemera
Upgraded to a CR-10 V2 last year and have had a lot of trouble since that time. I kept having issues where the filament would melt and form a solid chunk in the Teflon. After replacing and trying Capricorn, I bought the E3D Titan direct drive. This setup continues to bind the filament into a spiral shape and gets stuck right before the hot end entrance. I went as far as to buy an entire new OEM carriage and nozzles, but the binding would continue at least every other print.
The Hemera has worked like a dream and is printing PETG without any stringing after some tuning. I.couldn’t be happier with the print quality. The Hemera was pretty simple to assemble. Found a really good how-to guide on YouTube with links to Thingiverse to print the mounting brackets.
Only con was the thermistor that came with the Hemera is apparently bad. It’s reading 10c lower than the bed and room temperature. I bought a new sensor and it’s working as expected now.
