A bicycle seat one actually “sits” on. seat you can “sit” on
I bought this seat to replace the horribly uncomfortable stock “mountain bike” seat which came with my otherwise nice new electric bike. Finally a seat width which correctly accommodates the typical human’s seat width. Overall size is large enough to support upright riding (without being in the gigantic beach cruiser with huge springs category), but still allows you to lean forward and pedal when in pedal assist mode., or using your bike without the motor’s help. The seat is stiffer than I expected from memory foam, but I am not a very large or heavy person. Note that your arms should be long enough to comfortably hold the handle bars and reach the controls and brakes when sitting upright — they should be adjusted accordingly and may even have to be replaced for those of us with smaller frames and shorter arms. The seat’s cutout design efficiently relieves pressure on the anatomy and should serve both genders equally well without spending a fortune on similar supposed high end seats.
