Great history of pre-9/11 ANG
Super history of Air National Guard, tons of photos and full-color illustrations.Very detailed review of the Guard's early years, back to the first aircraft in the early 1900s. Because the ANG is ever changing, this book's end doesn't capture the changes impacting us in 2018, but still a great read. The books winds down around 1992, so the War on Terrorism is not addressed, nor the role of drones as reconnaissance and weapons platforms. Still, the information up to 1992 is detailed and well presented. Highly recommended.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
