As great as I remembered!
I first came across this book as a library page in the early 1990's. One of my counterparts mentioned how hilarious this book was, and it was! I think I read it every time it hit the "put away bin," which was often. Now that I have young children of my own some 30 (!) years later, this title popped into my head one night at bedtime, so I had to order 2. This book did not disappoint! The illustrations and text are vivid and wildly creative, and the author turns otherwise standard fairly tales into their own unique stories with unpredictable results.
