Okay, not great, for the price
So we bought this to reach our taller gutters at just over 20' high from the ground. Here is what you need to know:
1. The fittings are made from cheap plastic. Why does this matter you ask, well because you WILL get wet cleaning your gutters. The fittings WILL leak. However, once you completely drench yourself a couple times you will get the hang of it and learn to hold everything just right to keep yourself relatively dry.
2. If your gutters are 20' or higher from the ground you will still need to stand on a ladder. Two to three rungs high to get the right height and angle to really clean your gutters.
3. You need good water pressure. You may not have sufficient pressure in the country from a well to use this effectively. We lice in the city and our water pressure is so high we have blown up many water hoses so this was not an issue for us.
4. As a woman I can say this was relatively easy for my husband to handle. I however think it would be too difficult for me to handle when fully extended, standing on a ladder and holding the hose just right so you dont get drenched. Im 40 years old, weigh 120, am 5'5" and healthy. However, I know my arms could not handle this for very long.
All in all its a great idea that could use some perfecting. For just over $100 I would expect better quality fittings but thats really the only fault. Unfortunately its a big one.
