I had the Alta before and recently went into afib. I wanted to monitor my heart rate and the Alta battery no longer held a good charge so decided to go with the Inspire HR. It is light-years ahead in what it does. When the time is displayed the other parameters in a small font are displayed one by one with a tap. The band is like a watch band so much easier to put on. I highly recommend this model.

I really the upgrade from my Flex 2. The only drawback is that the text is TINY! I need reading glasses for reading texts and things and I can't see the tiny type so it makes it hard when I'm exercising to check my heart rate or number of steps. Other than that - super cool stuff.

Pros Lightweight and comfortable to wear Good heart rate and sleep tracker Long battery life Cons Screen is small and can be hard to see especially when running

It's convenient, easy to use, easy to sync, it's accurate and I find it very motivating. Especially the weekly report card. It's nice and small which makes it easy to sleep with compared to some of the larger ones.
