Fast and fit
They were so cheap I bought two. Be sure to get the gaskets on the right side of the carburetor as one has a hole. Mine would idle but die when throttled up. Reversed the gaskets and it ran fine. Just an FYI. I had to modify the fuel line as the air filter would not shut. I don’t consider myself mechanical but this was a pretty easy fix...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not OE, but works with a few minor modifications.
This review for a Stihl string trimmer FS55R carb replacement. Definitely not like an OE Stihl. Inlet tubes going into carb stick out farther than OE. Had to modify black plastic cover to fit back on. See Pix. Throttle retainer bushing not crimped (or smaller) one end. Throttle cable could not be retained. Had to use the old one off my Stihl. Glad I didn't throw it away. Primed it up and it started and ran. We'll see for how long. For the money, not a bad deal.

Not perfect, but perfectly adequate.
I bought this kit because the particular replacement carburetor I bought didn't come with this stuff like some carbs do. I was fine with the fuel line and gas filter, but the air filter had to be cut down almost 1/4" on 2 sides in order to fit into my Stihl FS 45c. I also installed the generic spark plug that came with the kit and the engine powered right up and ran strong. Like I said, "Perfectly adequate".Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
