4K-TVformat and bad apple but good Samsung
I used this controller to power my Samsung 4K TV for select the channels for Direct NOW TV powered by the new Apple 4K unit. The Apple controller comes with no operations manual and is super sensitive as much of it is controlled by the finger pad at the top of the controller. I did not like the BN59-01259E controller before but it sics up with the TV and easily controls the programs. Apple needs to rethink its controllers - not everyone is an electronics expert and spends 10 hrs per day on their Apple iPhone. Just so you know - I have an 8s Apple iPhone and an iPad and my main computer is a Dell with an intel 7i processor running Microsoft 7 Professional. If I find the Apple Controller hard to use what are those who do not use as much Apple products as myself do?Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Please be advised: My one star is because THIS UNIT WAS NOT COMPLETELY FUNCTIONAL WITH MY 85" 4K SAMSUNG 7100 SERIES TV. Neither the Pause or Extra buttons worked for this TV. Lightweight with great features.
It actually works better than the remote that originally came with the tv when new.
