Better than household bleach for wells
While ordinary bleach can be used in wells, I think this is better. The one bottle has pellets which you drop to the bottom of the well and will sanitize the water in the dead space between the pump and well bottom. Gets the smell out
I have used this product for years. I know, I could save a few dollars by pouring household bleach down the well, but I never felt comfortable with that idea. This product comes in solid form, and so the tablet portion should work almost as a slow release and kill the bacteria as it tries to repopulate. It gets rid of the 'rotten egg' smell of sulfur. but It doesn't get rid of all the rust-producing bacteria, just reduces it -- in my experience. Good luck!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A Great Product That Will SHOCK YOU.
At First I didn't think this product was any good, but after using household bleach to SHOCK our Semi Deep Well we own, The tiny pellet size balls works great, You don't smell like household bleach after a shower or a bath. Had our water re-tested by our county we live in, and the test come back Negative of any harmful parasite's, I have told several people out here where we live to use this product, I know I will use it again in the summer time. We can even tell a difference with our white clothes when they come out of the washer, they are much cleaner and white too. Fixed the Bad Smell
Easy to use, and at a very cheap price! I wish I had heard of this product years ago. This product with 1 use resolved the rotten egg smell from our well water, we now drink our well water instead of buying expensive bottled water!!!!
