Great LED at less than HALF the cost of Autometer
Though not officially an "Autometer" product, this meets the same standards at LESS than half the cost of originals. The LEDs shine bright and illuminate my tach, speedometer, and gauges very well (using the Autometer Phantom series in my '55 Chevy). There are 4 LEDs around the body and 1 on the top, which provide for more overall illumination area whether your gauge is the back-lit or perimeter-lit type (Phantom-series gauges shine from around the perimeter of the faceplate). I currently use the blue LEDs, but have tried a few other colors as well. In my experience, the white, green, and blue worked best in highlighting the white faceplate and red dial of my gauges. The red / amber LED had a terrible color contrast...VERY difficult to read the faceplate numbers or see the dial clearly. Have not tried the pink LED, nor have I tried these colors on gauges/tachs with black faceplates... so no opinions on those. I have included sample photos with this review; showing the illuminated tach in both daylight and darkened conditions. Also is a photo comparing the purchased LED (blue/left) and an original Autometer version (red/right) to see the LED bulb layout. Overall, you cannot beat the price or quality of these LEDs. Will be buying more spares. Definitely a great purchase at a great cost! :-)

Nice little leds
