Would not purchase something like this online again. I would talk to a professional first.
I rarely write reviews but I was disappointed in this fan. The lights are not very bright, they're amber colored and they point toward the backsplash. I wish we could swap out the bulbs. Our previous hood had bright white lights which was nice for cooking. Looking back, I would not purchase this brand again. The first one we had was a Kobe so when we needed to replace it, we had to make sure the exhaust was in the same spot so that's why we had to go with another Kobe. The first Kobe was higher end and it didn't last more than a couple of years. The directions were terrible for this purchase. And it was a bit smaller so my husband had to add some wood so that it would fit properly. I'm so glad my husband is handy! It was not an easy job for him and he was very frustrated.
