Couldn't ask more for the price
So far I've used both tig and cut functions. You simply can't beat it for the price. Tig works shockingly well on mild steel and cutter just works as expected. The only real complaint I have, which is very minor, is the power switch which is a bit of a pain to switch on and off with gloves. I bought this to augment my ability having a multi process welder which does mig and stick well but fails at tig (scratch only) and obviously doesn't cut. After looking at $800 tig only machines which I considered "entry level", I figured I'd give this one a whirl and at minimum have a plasma cutter in the end. What I found is something that I can comfortably grow my tig ability with and have an excellent cutter. Well more than I expected so far.

Very affordable welder! Works great.
I am not an experienced welder but I this machine seems to work very well. Be prepared with a set of TIG needles and filler rod.
