Excellent mat!!
This mat is a lot thicker than I expected. You can measure 2" with a ruler to get an idea of how thick it is but you can never really know for sure how much it will protect them when they take a fall. This mat will definitely do the trick! Good foam-very thin vinyl cover
It is lite enough for my 7 yr old gymnast to carry and provides good protection when the kids fall. I am disappointed the vinyl is very thin and ripped at the seam the first time we used it.
