Slide the Little Shaver over the shaft with the cutting edge towards the tip. Tilt tool with guide collar against shaft. Now firmly start cutting. Twist shaft as you cut around the tip. The unique "round" cutter surface will quickly and cleanly trim your tip straight and even with the ferrule.

Skip this tool and buy something that works!
This cue shaver, shaper is inferior to other products on the market. Cube 2 is far easier and safer on your sticks. Same price range, simpler and won't damage your feral or shaft. Would not recommend and I will not use!!
