Convenience purity and Percision beats slight extra cost
I suppose I could mix my own but these are so convenient and precisely measured for the containers that I use, plus the contents are finally powdered for easy dissolving. I would not want to use iodized salt and most of the rock salt and sea salt so I have seen are discolored with slight impurities. So these are definitely the choice for me
