Revived My Dead KCM Coffee Mill
I have a vintage KitchenAid/Hobart model KCM coffee mill that stopped dead one morning. Something was rattling inside but even though I'm mechanically inclined, I was unsure of how to gain access to the motor and grinding assembly. This repair manual described the process, I was able to locate the problem and make the repair without buying any parts, followed instructions to adjust the burrs to their original specs after reassembling, and now the grinder operates better than before and more quietly. The illustrations aren't the best quality, but I know that this was the case with the originals as well. Used model KCM coffee mills that aren't in as good of condition as mine can be found listed here for triple the price of this manual, on average. In that respect, my purchase of this item was a real bargain.
