2001 LX 470 Following instructions and video, dirty job, but simple and great results. Used on two front door speakers. Now I’ll attack the rear door speaker foams. At first I ordered the wrong size, and was able to return with no hassle and no charge. Very happy with product.

Anyone who might think this is a difficult process needs to think again. I had never rebuilt speakers before, but the thought of replacing all of these speakers with originals for $1,000 or more, or with after market speakers for a couple hundred dollars, I too reconsidered. It took about 15 minutes to remove each speaker from the door, 20 minutes to clean it up and glue down the new foam, and 15 minutes to reinstall. While I allowed the glue to dry on one speaker, I started on another door removing the next speaker and rebuilding it. If you're like me, you'll take your time doing the first speaker to make sure you know what you are doing. Once you do the first speaker, the rest are easy. The whole process was started and completed on a Saturday morning. I vasolated for more than a year - skeptical about doing this, and if it would even sound good after all the effort. I'm sorry I waited so long. They sound great.Read full review

The bass in my car was making a nasty rattling noise. Found out about using this to fix it through some forums and boy were they right. Speaker sounds like new now.
