driving a commercial truck for a living has been made a little easier with my Garmin DriveSmart 60 LMT, it's pretty accurate on locations and decently accurate on the current speed limits, the red light and speed camera warnings are nice also, the traffic feature is nice as well, I can avoid heavily congested areas and arrive on time, the only con I have about it is that it likes to send you on business routes through town instead of a bypass but that could be something in the settings that I haven't figured out yet, cell phone smart link is nice also, it provides useful info and allows hands free use of you phone for calling and messaging..yes I would recommend this model

I love garment. I have three other models. Is there somthing wrong wit this one? Als creeps and controls work fine but the daytime screen is to light and can't be adjusted so I can hardly see it during bright daylight hours. Anyone know if it can be fixed or where. Hard to like a new item purchased that not usable in the daytime.....?

We had a smaller version (50LMT) of this device for a few years now and absolutely love it - the ease of use, free software and map updates etc. VOICE COMMANDS work really good, especially if you already have destination saved and retrieving it from Favorites (or Recent) lists. Tried Find Address option is voice commands, and it was somewhat challenging - I understand accents and pronunciation play a great role here and are not universal, so overall we're pleased with the performance. REAL DIRECTIONS feature is pretty useful (turn at next light, after Starbucks, before big glass building etc.)., but sometimes I cannot understand what the landmark name is :) Couple of things that need improvement. Sometimes the unit is so "locked" on current route, that will not recognize the traffic and if I decide to make a detour myself, easily adjusts and instantly saves 5-10 minutes on his estimated arrival time. Big drawback - location (and probably sensitivity) of internal GPS antennae. If your unit is not mounted on the windshield, expect "AQUIRING SATTELITES" to be on your screen for very long time. Especially when driving into underground parking, or other above ground concrete structures, expect to lose the signal - it's somewhat normal, but when leaving mentioned locations, my both units were struggling to reconnect to satellites for 10-15 minutes or more, or until I unplug it, hold it in my hand closer to windshield etc. In my particular case I've mounted the unit in lower portion of center console, and it was a constant struggle after losing connection due to poor reception.Read full review

I got this used one at a steep discount, like new and works perfect. I originally wanted the Garmin Drive Smart 61 LMT but this saved me $150 and only sacrificed a little more screen size but has all the other features. The voice rec is my favorite part, works perfect.

This one takes some getting used to. It was advertised as having lifetime traffic. However, that requires a special power supply cord - which was not supplied. Luckily I already have two of them. My old nuvi provided a list of stops as I added them. On this one, I haven't been able to locate where the list of stops is - if there is one. I do like having a choice of routes, which my old nuvi didn't have. Overall, I think I will be satisfied with this one. I am glad I got the larger screen. Don't buy the smaller screen unless you have very good eyesight.
