The Intelligent Author
The author took his first job on Wall Street in 1914 and was there in October 1929 for the big crash. Thus when you read this book, you are reading a TRUE voice of experience! Is it still relevant? More info than I wanted I think
I just got this book so I really can't review it but they sent me email asking for a review! This old edition was recommended over the newest edition. But then I see that in the book the references to the stock market are really old. I am no expert on the stock market - I rely on my broker's advisor. I am hoping the book will help me understand more about picking investments. As I understand it, this 1973 edition is the last revised by Ben Graham prior to his death. I had read it years ago but I did not want the input from the Jason Zweig commentary that is now the current edition. Warren Buffett continues to state that this is the best investment book, ever.
