Great for email, but slow speed for surfing the net.
If you like fast internet speed, you might be disappointed. I did a speed check everyday for a week in different places around Honolulu and the test were not very fast. The AT&T rep at the mall told me go phone accounts only have 5 towers around Oahu and it depends how many people are online with the same tower or location that you are at to determine your speed. So Go Phone accounts have less capability and speed. If I use the same device and added it to my AT&T contract, there would be 20 towers to connect with and I would get more speed. But my company pays for my cell phone and I do not have an AT&T account, so I needed the Go Phone account that is actuall cheaper. I was told in the mainland that it would work better than it does in Hawaii. So it depends where you plan to use it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works great, until it stops working
These are great, until (as happened with my previous one) it just dies and quits working, for no apparent reason. Neither Boost Mobile nor Netgear is willing to do anything at all to help, unless it's still under warranty (one year). After that, apparently you have little choice but to throw it away and just buy another one. Both companies have tech support staffs which aren't helpful at all (leave you on hold for long times, give useless advice, refer you to wrong phone numbers at other companies, etc etc). I ordered it from overseas to be first delivered to my forwarder in the U.S. It took a little longer to make it home. It worked right immediately after sliding in my SIM card. It is fast and strong. I have had no buffering at all. I wonder if there is a way to remove the alert sign. Obviously, I do not have a att acount to register it. Anyways, no issues caused by that. I am really happy.
