The unit works as described . I put on a second door to monitor and that was easy to do . Will be adding a 3rd door to monitor by this unit some time this year . The unit can handle up to 4 units which is a nice option . The unit has been moved around in the house from room to room and works well each time . Wanted assurance that our garage door was closed when it should be. This unit not only changes from green to red, but also has an audible alarm with a short beep that draws your attention when the door is open. The monitor lets you know if your garage door is open or closed with colored lights. If you see the green light you know it’s closed and if it’s flashing red you know it’s open. It has a button to close the door but none to open it. I think a button to open the door would be nice too.
