Don’t let the release date make you question if this game is worth your money. It’s amazing that a game this detailed and compelling could’ve been made at the beginning of the console generation, with only minor improvements being made in newer entries. Far cry four offers a fun experience that doesn’t feel dated even in 2019

I picked up this game for the graphics and for the reputation of the series. This game is disappointing and a waste of time. The campaign is crap with weird and dark missions. The area map scale is poorly done and you end up wasting time going from one place to another. You waste more time doing crappy side missions to continue the campaign. Even at an easy setting, the gameplay is terrible. It takes forever to heal before you can shoot back only to have to heal again. It takes too much time to accumulate the skill points to beef up the character. No fun. Will play COD any day over this garbage.

The graphics are great. Very clear with good definition. Varied landscapes available and many choices in that regard. For me the game was overly complex but probably no problem for someone much younger than me. Some on screen instructions would be good at times saving the player from much trial and error to discover what it is you are required to do next. Still, all and all the price is right and good value for the money imo.

Imagine a game with the open environment and crafting/gathering capabilities of Minecraft, the shoot-em-up action of COD, and the storyline of Seven Years in Tibet (minus Brad Pit, of course) and you have Far Cry 4. Because of them elements, love this francise. I have played 2, 3, 4 and Blood Dragon and have recently started playing Primal and they are all amazing. The storylines are compelling and inspiring, and because you are usually fighting against the injustice and opporession of the locals, it makes shooting the "bad guys" much more justified. One aspect that i love more so FC4 than the others, is the constant danger of wild aminal attacks and rebel driveby attacks around any corner. Plus, you can act as a good Samaritan and help the locals defend against animal and enemy attacks. And even help some stranded locals fix their car. The only thing I don't enjoy too much about FC4 is the Shangri-la missions which can be very difficult little reward or relevance to the main plot. The multi-player mode is good but not COD good with limited maps and players. Oh, and an amazing arsenal of weapons and munitions to boot!Read full review

This game was definitely different from the other Farcry games. Still fun, but after a while , the missions felt somewhat redundant. The gameplay is still fun and I would still recommend this game.

Another great Far Cry game! Great graphics, good story, and cool missions. I've thing I ready like is you can fly around the map in a gyro-copter kind of vehicle which let's you get to places faster.

Great game with many challenges. Good graphics and you get to drive multiple vehicles from tanks to helicopters. Add ons are not worth the money.

Great graphics, great story, a little tough to get used to gameplay, but it's definitely rewarding. It's not a DOOM like shooter where you just run and shoot. There's lack of ammo, strong opponents, wild animals, crazy birds, and other stuff to watch for... awesome game!
