    Architects choose Rotring!

    I'm an architect, and I've loved this pen since getting one as a gift from my parents for graduation from architecture school. I still have that original one, and a couple of newer ones. I use them daily. These Rotring pencils have excellent weight and balance in the hand.

    Excellent writing experience !

    This mechanical pencil is worth every penny. As noted by other reviewers, you do have to be extra careful not to drop it or you risk bending the tip of the pencil. Being blessed with luck, I dropped it on the same day I received it, but was able to straighten it back to it's original shape. All in all, an excellent pencil.

    Best mechanical pencil ever

    Buying it second time! Already had black one, now I decided to go with silver and I recommend it since it's best mechanical pencil in the world. You won't regret buying it. Price on ebay is higher compared to price in japan and other wholesale places, so if you can buy it outside eb. Anyway really good choice! It will last long, just don't break little bottom.

    Outstanding mechanical pencil.

    One of the best, if not the best non retractable mechanical pencils ever made. The construction quality, all metal, is remarkable, the balance, namely the gravity center position and the weight outstanding, the knurled grip also excellent with no slipping at all. This pencil is a reference. I also own the rotring 800 which I consider excellent too and to describe it I use to say "the 800 is the 600, but retractable". I think this is enough to understand my opinion about the 600. May be a little expensive than others but if we think about the quality, the ratio quality/price is excellent. I real delight for writing.

    The mode and precision with which it is built allows for high-precision technical drawings. If the eraser is superfluous, the construction of the front part allows the use of the mine without breaking up to 2 mm in length. Even if there are programs like AutoCAD, the pleasure of sketching can not be ensured by them.
