pro's = sharp, quick focus, wide aperture (and sharp from F2.8) easy to use (position and feel of both the focus ring and and zoom ring, well made and nicely finished product. Con's = heavy, auto/manual focus switch (I find this a little fiddly), cost - but to be fair on this one it is cheap when compared to Sony Zeiss, Canon or Nikon equivalent or at least their closest lenses and last but not least you can not get front screw on filters, only clip on filters. PS I have put down that this durable as it is working well and I'm the second owner but I have only had this for a couple of weeks.
