Well-made and functional - also works with Atari 2600.
PROS: These Genesis extension cables work great, and are a great deal. They're solid, dependable, and don't cause any signal degradation. You can also attach them in series to get an even longer cable. BONUS: These also work with the original Atari 2600. The two machines used the same type of plug for their controllers, so these extension cables are 100% compatible with both systems. CONS: None. Alot thinner than expected.
When i purchased the item i thaught for the price it was a quality item. I saw similiar listed for half the price, but different packaging. Well the cords were really thin and look weird paired with the original controller cords. At first one didnt even work. Reduce wear and tear on your console

Partially dead after few days
Got two of them. They both worked perfectly fine for a few days but now one of them fails to register the down button. I've tried different Genesis models and controllers and it does the same thing. Worthless garbage
The pins were very crooked on both extensions I received. I did my best to gently straighten them out, but when I plugged in an OEM Genesis controller one of the pins on the extension just slid back into the housing of the extension. There's no way to open these and pull the pin back out so now it's useless.
