When you need it, you need it...
It appears to be new old stock and in perfect condition. There's not much to say about it, it matches the impedance of the unshielded twisted pair cable (UTP) from a PCMCIA card at 100 ohms to shielded twisted pair cable (STP) at 150 ohms used for IBM data connectors. I did a brief test of it with a PCMCIA token ring adapter in loop back mode. I needed it to set up an ancient token ring network. Unfortunately the token ring hub I ordered from another supplier seems to be lost in the USPS so I cannot yet do a proper test. In any case, since I purchased the materials it seems that project is going to be cancelled. :(
