Needed some simple lab/bench power supplies and saw these at a very low price, so I bought 4 of them. All 4 worked as advertised, right out of the box. Digital voltage display is easy to read and accurate enough for general power supply use (all 4 read with +/-0.1V of actual voltage, when checked against a precision reference). There's a switch that allows the digital display to read an external voltage, rather than the power supply output; a handy feature. Analog amp-meters on all 4 supplies worked and appeared to be reasonably accurate, although I did not check these against a reference. Have only had the supplies for a few days, so time will tell regarding reliability. I did a 2 hour "burn-in" of the 4 supplies, at 10V and about 250 mA, and all at least made it through this infant mortality period. The TO-3 transistor on the back gets pretty warm under load, so I would hesitate to run these for long periods of time near their rated load of 1 Amp. Outputs are floating unless you ground them, so you can easily series 2 for a bipolar +/- 15V supply, or series 4 for a +/-30V supply. The instruction booklet was barely legible and somewhat humorous (obviously translated into English by someone with little knowledge of the language), but this is unimportant for such a simple device. The power supplies were apparently originally designed for mobile phone diagnosis, and come with some interesting (and perhaps useful to some) leads with multiple alligator and pin clips. There's a radio-frequency power LED bar graph on one side of the digital display, with limited information in the instructions, but this is not a feature I will want to use anyway. The product is reasonably good. The test/output switch fell off of one of them on day one. The wires have been consistently falling apart over the last couple of weeks (the clips keep falling off). I think I'm down to two of the six wires that haven't needed to be repaired. Otherwise, they work well. The 1A max current has made some problems for my students, but on the bright side, it's just another engineering problem for them to solve, which is okay with me. All in all, I'd say it's a good product for the price.

Although it is cheap it is well put together, it performed all of it's function and seems to be quite accurate, the overcurrent protection is very quick acting. My only complaint is the voltage variation control is very touchy so getting an accurate setting beyond within about 300 mv of the target takes some patience. But overall I'm happy with it.

Voltage output is accurate to 0.1 volts. Instructions are sparse (have no idea what the 200V "test" connection is for), but the device is moslty self-explanatory. Comes with a really neat octopus test leads that has four grabber, two alligator, and one USB probes.

Screws fall out of the cover. Came bent and dinged. Pos and Neg posts not mounted and falling out. Meter does not work. I actually just threw it away. Waste of money.

Arrived with a ground fault due to defective soldering. Current meter had an internal intermittent. Absolutely indecipherable instruction sheet (what's the mysterious "RF" scale on the display??) I ended up ripping everything but the display and transformer out of it, and used an LM317 to make a decent adjustable supply.
