This shift mechanism is all cast aluminum. The OEM has steel parts mixed in with cast aluminum. I am not sure if this is good or bad, but I am sure that it fits perfectly. It does seem to be lesser duty than the OEM - but it functions good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
