Catahoula is the Best.
Catahoula nylon line, Braided or Twisted, is the highest quality string line that I know of. Preferred by most fishermen I know. I've always used it, and my Dad did too. I prefer braided tarred for trotlining main line, and braided non-tarred for hook staging. The tarring resists water wicking, algae, and rot. I always recommend Catahoula brand.

Sticks/Holds itself & knots in place on paracord as well as logs
I like that this is smaller in diameter than paracord + when I tie a knot it stays tied. I heard about this on a Cpl Kelly youtube video.
