Quality Headers Make a Better Sound
Installed on 2007 FJ Cruiser after the stock exhaust manifold started separating from the engine. These headers look awesome and should add a little horsepower, though it hasn't been noticable. They seem very well made. The Toyota TRD exhaust note is a little more aggressive and has a lower growl when accelerating quickly/at higher RPMs. *Note that this kit does not come with hardware. This has the headers and gaskets only. The headers will need to be welded directly to your stock or aftermarket catalytic convertors.* The existing hardware in my engine bay was rusted junk and completely replaced by the shop who did the install. Be prepared with replacement hardware if you live in a snowy area and deal with rust since the stock hardware will fall apart over time.
