Easy to use
I wanted to build a cheap panadapter to run off my Elecraft K3 IF port and had read where others had done a similar project combining an upconverter with an RTL SDR dongle. I got both from NooElec and it works perfectly for my needs. Make sure you get the extruded cases for both devices or you might see several "birdies" like I did. After I got the cases, 99% of the birdies went away and I get a clear picture from SQR# software.

To use your RTL-SDR or equiv, this is the best way. This case protects it.
The Ham-It-Up (with the bypass switch) is so useful that it is in daily use. So rather than have a bare circuit board it is highly recommended that this case be used with it. It fits the board and has all the holes drilled to line up with the switch and the input and output conectors, along with the USB power connection. Worth every penny.
