They are plastic and look plastic.
I knew that when I bought them, but had higher hopes... I placed a few on the bike and just decided to not use them... I think the higher end types are aluminum... that is just my perspective.

Over priced
These caps are made of thick plastic and are of good quality but I think they could've been about $20-$30 cheaper. But hey the bike looks good so that's all that counts!
