Great control but over optioned
I have used these in two houses and love them. I first bought them so my children would be able to turn on the bathroom fan while showering without having the fan run all day. These are much nicer than the old style round dial type of timer. I use Decora switches throughout my homes and these fit right in. They have been harder to find in hardware stores lately. The first version could be bought in one of three colors. The newer ones give you the option of changing the faces but you end up with two unused pieces. These newer units will control lights or fans while the original units were for fans only. Consequently, the units are larger so room is tighter in the electrical box. I would prefer the original unit over these although these work well. I feel that you pay more for unnecessary options.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Prematurely fails
These timers work well for a few months and then start to make a loud buzzing noise when in use necessitating their replacement. Great addition for a bathroom fan!
Great timer/switch! A very nice feature to have in the bathroom or anywhere the fans get turned on and are left to suck all the heat out of the house....no more! It does require a good deal of space in the box, so be prepared to move some bits around to allow it to fit. This particular model had the load ratings to handle fans, led lights, and regular incandescent lights in reasonable amounts. Bath Fan Timer
Bought this timer for bathroom fan and light. Wiring diagram is simple to understand and install. One caution, you must have enough space depth-wise to fit in a switch box. I had to remove the switches and clear enough space by moving the wiring back and toward the left (or right) so I can easily fit into electrical box. Tend to fail often
These timer/switches have a bad habit of buzzing or clicking after a year or two. Its happened to all four I have installed in my house. I replaced two under warranty and two that were outside of warranty. I just noticed a week ago that one of the warranty replacement units is starting to buzz quietly at times.
