Unless you are extremely lucky, you will have to make adjustments to fit your fingers. Some finger picks become malleable in hot water, these do not. I read that someone used a hot gun. I think that would work, or a hair dryer that runs hotter than some. Once you get them to fit and use them long enough to adjust your playing to having something on your finger tips, you will appreciate these picks. I wear mine upside down, or backwards. They are made to extend the fingernail. When I play without finger picks, I don't use my fingernails. They are too weak, so I'm used to using the finger tips, and wearing these upside down fits that style of picking.

Great product, Quality materials. My only complaint is size. I have fairly small hands and the “large” was pretty tight on my middle finger. Although a little more room would make them more comfortable, I was able to get them in place. They don’t slip on your finger, and they definitely provide more volume. I’m glad I got them. Does anyone know if the fit can be relaxed using “warm” water?

ue, therI cannot grow long nails, my nails are breaking if grown even a bit more than nailbed. Besides, I don't think it is appropriate for a grown man. So I can fingerpick fast and sure enough only with some gadgets. And finally, after many tries, I landed on these Fred Kelly fingerpicks. They are just perfect, and delrin really makes the difference, they are slippery and do not catch on the strings. Great value for the money. Only isse is no XL size. I have big hands, and middle finger feels a bit tight.

I use mostly coated steel strings and nylon strings, so I need picks that won't destroy the strings. These handle that nicely. They also give a more natural "fingernail" tone. Won't leave home for a gig or studio w/o them. JL

I tend to pick with the back part of my index, toward the cuticle,,at times direct contact is difficult, with this pick,it is easier ti feel a little more consistency creating resonance. I have thick fingers and even the xlarge are a bit tight, but I need to heat and adjust. And maybe do a little trimming,to keep from hooking into some strings on the back picking

My only issue is sizing. I ordered large and they're still too tight. I've steamed them to create a little room but then I lose some dexterity. I've sanded the edges to make them more comfortable. These are still about as good as currently available.

I've tried all the finger picks available and these are by far the best. They're comfortable, fit well and are very close to natural fingernails. I got use to them right away. I'm going to buy another set.

These work well with my thumb piano, saves my weak broken fingernails. Keeps my finger from getting sore. I will definitely buy more.

this is a "if needed" kinda specialty item..I use it (a pick) for Clawhammer style banjo, and it's one of the best picks for that application, finger style, I doubt it. I am interested in the soft thumb pick.
